Toddler Program

Ages 1 year 10 months to 2 years 10 months | 9 children | 3 teachers
Rooted in a deep respect for young children and a trust in their innate capabilities, our toddler program brings the heart of our farm- and nature-based approach to children ages 1 year 10 months through 2 years 10 months. With a small group of 9 children and 3 teachers, toddlers are supported in a nurturing, responsive environment where relationships, independence, curiosity, and joyful exploration are at the center of each day.
Similar to our preschool program, the toddler class spends extended time outdoors, engaging with the natural rhythms of the farm, the seasons, and the living world around them. Our play-based, emergent curriculum follows the interests of the children while honoring the science of early childhood development. 

Through open-ended creative arts, sensory exploration, movement, imaginative play, and hands-on experiences in nature, toddlers are invited to investigate, express themselves, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of belonging.

​This program offers young children the time, space, and care they need to grow at their own pace, surrounded by nature, trusted by adults, and supported in the important work of play.
